Typically, second graders have about 20-25 minutes of homework four nights a week. This is usually made up of:
Math Home Link: 10 minutes
Nightly Independent Reading: 10-15 minutes
Homework provides an opportunity for students to practice the skills they are learning at school, as well as for you to participate in your child's learning process. Homework will be sent home in your child's take home folder. Please make sure to check this folder each night and return it to school each day.
